June Newsletter: Your Safety, Our Priority

We know visiting the dentist can feel stressful—so we want you to feel confident that your health and safety come first. Every instrument we use is clean, sterile, and ready just for you.

Our Sterilization Process: Step by Step

We take infection control very seriously. Here’s how we make sure every tool we use is safe and completely clean:

Sterilization

1. Ultrasonic Cleaning – Before anything goes into the sterilizer, instruments are placed in an ultrasonic cleaner. This uses sound waves to remove even the tiniest bits of debris, including particles invisible to the naked eye.

2. Thorough Rinse & Inspection – Each instrument is carefully rinsed and inspected to ensure nothing is left behind.

3. Autoclave Sterilization – Instruments are sealed and placed in a high-temperature, high-pressure autoclave. This process kills all bacteria,
viruses and spores, guaranteeing that instruments are safe for every patient.

4. Sealed & Stored – Once sterilized, instruments are stored in a clean environment until your appointment. This prevents contamination and ensures they are ready when you are.

5. Routine Testing & Monitoring – We monitor and test our sterilization equipment daily to ensure it is working at peak performance.

What About Non-Disposable Items?

Not everything in dentistry can be sterilized in an autoclave—like countertops, chairs, or X-ray equipment. For these, we use medical-grade disinfectants that are proven to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. These disinfectants are the same level of strength used in hospitals and are specially designed for healthcare environments.

Here’s how we keep non-disposable items safe and ready for every patient: Sterilization

  1. Surface Disinfection – Every treatment room is thoroughly wiped down after each appointment. Dental chairs, countertops, lights, and equipment are disinfected with hospital-grade cleaners before the every patient is seated.
  2.  Digital Equipment Care – X-ray machines and computer equipment that can’t be immersed in disinfectant are carefully cleaned with wipes that are both effective and safe.
  3. Team Training & Consistency – Every member of our team follows the same strict protocols for disinfecting non-disposable items. Routine training and checklists keep us consistent, so nothing is ever overlooked.
  4.  A Room Reset Just for You – Before you walk into the treatment room, it has already been fully cleaned, disinfected, and prepared just for you.

Why This Matters to You

A clean, sterilized environment isn’t just about following rules—it’s about protecting your health and giving you peace of mind. By investing in the latest sterilization technology and maintaining rigorous cleaning protocols, we minimize risk and ensure every visit is safe.
