First off, I would like to note this is my first time writing a review. I also have to note that I am well used to poor customer service due to my time in the military. I was delighted with their initial process when it came to signing up. It was straightforward and convenient. They were also able to get me scheduled within a week. On the day of the appointment, the roads were slightly icy that morning, but not enough to delay school. I arrived at the building 15 minutes before to find the doors of the building to be locked. I saw the receptionist through the window and knocked lightly to get her attention. Her face immediately turned sour with a look of disgust. I was shocked at this facial expression because I was asked to arrive early. She then proceeds to talk to me through the glass door as if I were going to steal all the dental toolkits. I asked if she can open the door since I couldn't hear anything she was saying. Again her face turned sour because of the small inconvenience of unlocking a door to speak to someone face to face. Once the door was opened, she proceeds to tell me that my appointment was pushed back two hours due to the weather and that I should have received a message saying so. No such message was received on my personal phone, work phone, or email. I am confident that the dental services that they provide are outstanding, but the lack of communication and poor receptionist service forced me to cancel the whole appointment. Taking off of work is not always easy for everyone. The very less that can be done is a heads up on the change of plans. Update: The dentist's office receptionist attempted to reach out to me, but I have missed their call. They left a voice message to apologize and explain what went wrong. I had already booked an appointment with another office.

The staff members at Winchester Dental are absolutely amazing. I went in there today for an appointment and I felt like I had known the staff members for years. They are so friendly and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. After my appointment, I couldn’t stop smiling! Kindness goes a long way, thank you Winchester Dental!

Patient Review

I thought that the staff were friendly and well knowledgeable. They did their best to put me at ease and addressed my problem quickly. Got me in for a exam the same day that I called. They also set up a payment plan so I could get the work done on my tooth that needed to be done, to alleviate my pain. Scheduled my appointment for the very next day to have the problem tooth fixed. Unlike my last dentist who required payment in full before doing any work!!! Update: after the work they did , they did a 360 X-ray. That I am sure showed that they did not get all of the nerve when preforming the root canal that day. I later had a abscess form in that spot which caused me great pain. This abscess came back 4 more times before I was finally able to had a dentist at the VA remove the tooth and complete the root canal that the dentist was in too much of a rush to ensure that he did his job correctly. He was in so much of a rush to get to his next victim to be bothered with any other concerns. Even when I came back to have the crown put on and tried to talk to him, he pushed me off to his dental assistant instead of listening to anything I had to say. Very poor service I will never go back to this place!!! The dental assistants were great, but the dentist sucked and were only concerned about mass production of getting patients in and out to make as much money as possible!!!! They don’t care about their patients as people at all, all they see is dollar signs in their chairs!!! No compassion whatsoever!!!!! I have filled a complaint with the ADA!!!! The VA dentist has agreed to testify as well!!!! And if you delete this update I have a screen shot for the ADA!!!
